Extended Health Benefits
We Direct Bill for You
We are able to direct bill many extended health benefit providers directly from our clinic. This means less paperwork and fewer steps for you.
Coverage varies between insurance plans, so we recommend checking your individual plan to determine your available physiotherapy, massage therapy, and other allied health benefits.
If your plan requires you to pay a portion of your treatment, we will clearly explain your responsibility at the time of your appointment.
WCB
Work Place Injuries
If you have been injured at work, you may be eligible for physiotherapy treatment through the Workers' Compensation Board (WCB).
Our team can help guide you through the process and submit eligible treatment directly to WCB, so you can focus on your recovery rather than paperwork.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
We're Here to Help After a Collision
If you've been injured in a motor vehicle accident, you may be entitled to physiotherapy treatment through your automobile insurance.
We can assist with the billing process and communicate with your insurer so you can focus on getting better.
If you've recently been involved in a motor vehicle accident, please let our team know when booking your appointment so we can help you understand the next steps.
Veterans Affairs Canada
Supporting Those Who Have Served
We are proud to provide care for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) clients and can direct bill eligible services to VAC.
Our goal is to make accessing physiotherapy and other services as straightforward as possible for those who have served our country.
RCMP & EPS Members
Care for Those Who Serve Our Communities
We also support active RCMP and Edmonton Police Service (EPS) members, including eligible treatment through applicable employer and benefit programs.
If you're unsure whether your treatment is covered, contact our clinic and our team can help you determine what information we need before your appointment.
Alberta Health Care
Is Physiotherapy Covered by Alberta Health Care?
Routine physiotherapy is not an insured service under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP). However, Alberta Health Services does offer funded physiotherapy for certain conditions and circumstances.
If you have recently had an orthopedic surgery or fracture, you may qualify for AHS-funded physiotherapy. For these situations you must contact the Rehabilitation Advice Line for guidance about rehabilitation services and eligibility.
